Participate in the Gillie Girls Sprint Triathlon or Aqua Bike
If you want to be part of our gang of women doing their first sprint triathlon or aqua bike (swim, bike but no running) to raise money for breast cancer research, join me (and us) at the 15th Annual Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon on July 26th in Camillus, New York, at and around Gillie Lake. You can do it by yourself or split up the triathlon legs with other women. It is made for everyone to enjoy. Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham is dedicating the race to her friend Teresa Dowe Huggins, who had breast cancer and shines on from above the rainbow. Teresa did her first triathlon after a special friend of hers passed away. The truth is also that many women in her organization are breast cancer survivors or living with the disease now. We would love to have you join us so we can rock the athletic world with our power and raise money for such a meaningful cause. Here is my referral link if you want to use it. https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Camillus/GillieGirlSprintTriathlon?raceRefCode=qid045lY&utm_source=RunSignUp&utm_medium=Referral&utm_campaign=qid045lY Pay and register on your own, and then fill out our Women TIES registration page so we know you are coming and to look for you. Invite other women you know to join us. The more, the merrier, and the more we help to erase breast cancer from future generations of women. Women TIES First Micro-Budget Film Looking for MeToo Extras
Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham is taking her creative ways to a new level by producing a micro-budget film called "Sugar Daddy", an autobiographical #MeToo short film. Any women who are #MeToo survivors who would like to be extras in one of the scenes, should fill out the rsvp form for this event and submit it. We expect to shoot the scene in Syracuse on a Sunday afternoon making it accessible to working women. Food and drink will be available along with an IDmb credit.
