Vote Pink - Vote for Kamala Harris
In the 2024 election, women have a choice to vote for a female to run our nation. Kamala Harris is an experienced professional with an impressive resume. She is smart and compassionate too. I have always said, "The world won't change for women, unless women change the world for women," so voting for a female executive of the USA is one way to make the pink changes that are needed to bring equality to females. With young women in my life, I also vote for their future, one where they get the right to choose what they want with their bodies. As a "MeToo" victim, there isn't any way to have a convicted rapist in the White House. Think of the message it sends to women everywhere. I hope you will vote for a female-forward future on November 2nd. Thank you, Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham About the Presenter Tracy is a 30-year entrepreneur who created a business to help women connect and buy from each other to help with the pay inequality issue. She also added a women's sports division and an equality division after taking 120 women to the 2017 Women's March in DC. She is an activist and advocate for women's rights.
Women TIES Needs Your Signature on an ERA Petition
Women TIES and its Equality Division support the efforts of the "Get off the Sidelines, Get on the ERA Bus!" asking New Yorkers to answer the call to put the Equal Rights Amendment into the United States Constitution in 2024. They need your signature on a petition to secure lawmakers' signatures needed for an ERA Discharge Petition in the U.S. House of Representatives. If the Discharge Petition gets enough attention, they can finally bring the ERA to a vote by Congress which will hopefully pass and secure women's rights. YOU can help by signing your name to the petition at this email address: team@sign4era.org
This is a bipartisan effort. 218 signatures are needed to trigger a House floor vote. They have secured 214 votes. Every House Democrat has signed the ERA Discharge Petition, so this leaves only the Republicans to add their signatures. It's been 101 years since the ERA was first introduced in Seneca Falls, NY and it's long past due to be placed into the Constitution.
