Join us for the 21st session of the Syracuse Actors Studio (SAS) on Monday, November 17, 2025, 7-10 PM, which will be

SAS will have several excellent performances, including a monologue by Eva Vastakis! We are also looking for a few more actors to volunteer to perform monologues or scenes. (Contact Joe if interested 315-863-9407/jcunningham3021@gmail.com, and send a headshot for promo.)

SASGIVING is our own version of FRIENDSGIVING! We love celebrating the holiday with our community of actor friends! Please bring a dish to pass (potluck style) and label your food in case of allergies. We will have plates, napkins, and cutlery.

If you'd like to come early and bring some Thanks/Friends/SASgiving decorations and help us decorate you can!

We will have a smorgasbord of acting activities as well, including "Acting We Are Thankful For" hosted by Joe, where we will watch clips of our favorite acting and then say why we love them. There will be a hat out for you to add your name and the performance you love, and Joe will pick from it. We might not have time to see them all this session, so we are being fair and leaving it to chance.

As always, at the end we will have a small amount of time for announcements if anyone wants to plug a show, announce casting, or the like; with time after to network and socialize.

We will of course have SAS After Hours with Jay Merante of Jay Merante Comedy, please like & subscribe! It's always a lot of fun, and we encourage anyone who wants to stay after to join in the improv comedy. Jay is also open to actors' ideas for skits.

We will, as always, have a hat out for donations. Half of the donations go to our host, and half to SAS for supplies.

Syracuse Actors Studio is always a free monthly meetup for actors, where we learn from and practice acting together. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to attend! Filmmakers, writers, playwrights, producers, casting agents, and observers are all welcome.
