About the Presenter

UNION PLACE COFFEE ROASTERS is a micro coffee roasting operation where friendly coffee folks are passionate about coffee and are eager to help you find the perfect cup.

They source 100% Arabica beans from reputable importers, insuring we use sustainably grown coffee at a fair price to the farmer, the processor, and the customer.

Roasting on-site in small batches allows us to develop the unique, delicate flavors of each origin. We use our senses to develop coffees our customers desire time and time again.

After spending many years under the direction of the roaster masters at Maidstone Coffee, Laurie DiProspero opened the doors of Union Place Coffee Roasters in 2013. An entrepreneur at heart, Laurie refurbished a worn-out warehouse into a hip coffee roastery where coffee lovers gather to learn, share and collaborate. Laurie has built a loyal following of coffee lovers at The Genesee Valley Regional Market in Henrietta NY.

The Syracuse St. Patrick's Day Parade happening on March 14, 2020, is looking for groups to march. If we had enough interest, Women TIES can put together a group of women entrepreneurs, women in sports and women in equality to march this year!

We need counts by February 14th so we can apply, pay and give them a count and get registered. We don't want to do that without having enough women interested in joining us - counting you!

We could hold signs - and heck if anyone knows how to build a float - we could have one too. If you are interested, I need to know so make a reservation and say "YES" to promote Women TIES mission of "women supporting women in business, sports, equality and life!" and your business, organization or cause-focused on women. Say YES!

Bring your daughters, granddaughters, female associates, female business vendors and any other women or girls you want to invite! Let's show up in 2020 and showcase women!

If we have a great group of women, I'll buy the green beer for us afterward so we can network and exchange business cards.

I need your interest officially so we can register by February 15th!! The $25 will go towards a hat, shirt, beads or something to link us together.
