About the Presenter
New Feminists for Justice was formed by co-founders Roseanne Olszewski and Donna Moore.
Women TIES took 110 women to the Women's March on Washington, DC last year to join with one million other marchers to celebrate women's rights which are human rights.
The New Feminists for Justice organized the Women's March/Gathering in Syracuse last year which was powerful. New Feminists for Justice was formed by co-founders Roseanne Olszewski and Donna Moore.
This year the two organizations are gathering together to produce a "CNY Women Rising" March on January 20, 2018 starting at 10 a.m. at the United Way Parking lot at 518 James St, Syracuse, NY 13203. The March will run through the historic Hawley-Green neighborhood past the new Serenity Housing for Homeless Female Veterans (built by Laci's Tapas Bar owners) to the ArtRage Gallery where we will have a program showcasing the best of CNY women & girls! A return march will begin at ArtRage at 1pm.
Special speakers and performers will entertain at ArtRage Gallery for an hour before "marching" back to the march start at 1 p.m. This is a women's and girl's march only this year because the organizers want to lift up women and bring them together in solidarity and unity to celebrate each other.
Women of any age are invited to attend. Young working female professionals, female college students and young girls are welcome to join us. This will be a March about "women supporting women" so we can move through 2018 stronger together.
Women TIES will be selling "pink glasses" so women and girls start living the Women TIES Mission to "See Pink. Live Pink. Buy Pink" in 2018 to change the world for women and girls.
