What can a new book teach us about the power of pictures, words, and wisdom? "Women Mean Business: Over 500 Insights from Extraordinary Women to Spark Your Success," published in September 2023 by Edie Fraser, Robyn Freedman Spizman, and Andi Simon PhD is a compilation of 500 wisdom from 102 women, each of whom wanted to share their perspectives on women's transformative power in the business world. This book is not just a collection of stories; it is a testament to the incredible journey that women have embarked upon and their profound impact on businesses of all shapes and sizes, entrepreneurs, c-suite leaders, philanthropists, and association leaders.

Today, it has become increasingly evident that women bring to businesses a unique perspective, different experiences, and robust talents. Andrea Simon, Ph.D., principal and founder of Simon Associates Management Consultants (SAMC), launched SAMC in 2002 to bring anthropology's methods, tools, and theory to businesses that needed or wanted to change.

With a Ph.D. in Anthropology from CUNY, Dr. Simon was a tenured facility member at Ramapo University before entering corporate America. In 2006, Dr. Simon was a visiting professor at Washington University in St. Louis, teaching entrepreneurship to Arts and Science students. At 6:00 PM on Mondays, the group meets at Lakeland Park, 11 Forman Street, Cazenovia.

At 5:30 PM on Tuesdays, the group meets at Washington Park, 200 Cypress Street, Liverpool

#261Fearless is a female-specific running community that focuses on the fun, social, non-competitive side of running. We provide a safe, friendly and fun environment for women to run together. It's a great way to get fit and make new friends while you're at it. Building a community of support is just as important as getting out and moving.
