The Women TIES Women's Equality Division wants to keep up conversations about women's rights and women's equality throughout the summer.

Although the agenda of this meeting is not yet set in stone, it may include watching a feminist movie followed by discussion or a feminist topic each woman brings with her to discuss. At the rate of the political environment, it might also include some action plans or event organization/participation in some other local events. All we know is we want to join women together who have an interest in being feminist and changing our world for women.

Women TIES Founder Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham is hosting this event in our Pool House in Baldwinsville, New York with a limit of 15 women attend. There is a small cost for drinks/food and national materials.

The event is open to Women TIES members and women who have attended a Women TIES event in the past year.

About the Presenter

Women TIES, LLC will kick off their 12th year in business by adding an "Equality" division to their company to unite women who are interested in being more involved with equality issues for women. The idea stemmed from our dedication to women, the 100th Anniversary of New York State Women's Right to Vote and the Women's March on Washington.

Women's Equality Division will focus our work and activism on women's issues that include equal pay, supporting female politicians, freedom of choice, advancing sports in women, sexual assault and any other issue that directly impacts women. The women we will represent will be from any race, religion, sexual preference, background, or economic status. The Women TIES "Women's Equality Division" is for all women of all ages.

Just as summer kicks off, women entrepreneurs should embrace a relaxed way of doing business and set time aside to contemplate new personal or professional endeavors to launch later in the year or in early 2018. Being "entrepreneurial" as a woman entrepreneur means constantly envisioning and enacting new projects, divisions or experiences to enrich one's future. Collaborative thinking and partnerships can also be beneficial in launching new ideas.

At the Women TIES Greater Finger Lakes "Creating New Big Endeavors for Your Business or Life," join two women entrepreneurs as they share experiences of how they added very different projects and events to their business to enrich it and expand in a new arena. Stacey Murphy, Founder of Murphy Grant Consulting, will share how and why she created NY Votes for Women: A Suffrage Centennial Anthology through Cayuga Lake Books and featuring stories from numerous Finger Lakes women. Also be inspired by Women TIES President Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham, as she shares her six month journey to train and participate in the Boston Marathon raising $8,000 to participate for Team 261Fearless and how transporting 110 women to the March on Washington impacted her business.

Come prepared to share your own "next chapter" story and converse as we all inspire each other over this breakfast program.

The event is sponsored by the New York Women's Business Center (www.nywbc.org).

Nonprofits, municipalities and schools do great things for others, but busy professionals may have limited time or expertise to get the funds they need. Murphy Grant Consulting can help!
