The teachings of Jack Canfield tell us it doesn't matter who you are or what you do, you have the potential to be a one in a million person who influences the world. This principle is based on the success principles Canfield has taught over his illustrious career including the creator of "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series. Women TIES is fortunate to bring one of his associates to Saratoga Springs to inspire female entrepreneurs.

At the Women TIES Saratoga & Albany Region Luncheon "One in A Million Vision," Teresa D. Huggins, President of Leaders for Life International and the Empowered Wellness Journey, will inspire you to create an expanded vision for yourself and business by transforming limiting beliefs into powerful action steps. You will activate solution-focused conversations that will yield great results. After this event, walk away with a new "one in a million vision" for yourself as a woman entrepreneur.

After spending time with Teresa, you will feel renewed energy to expand your vision and leave with action steps to implement after this session.

The program is sponsored by Scallions Restaurant and the New York Women's Business Center. Both sponsors will share information about their organizations as well.

Join Women TIES at the 2020 Right to Run 5K & 19K

Right To Run 2020 Featuring:
Susan B. Anthony
19th Amendment

Reservations due:  July 17

$35.00  (Varies By Registration Date and Race Type)

Join Women TIES Right to Run Team for 2020! Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham will be running this year in either the 5K or 19K race.

The Right to Run Race celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Ratification of the 19th Amendment! It all started back in Seneca Falls, NY, when Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott held the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention – the first-ever Women's Rights Convention.

To some, the 19K may seem like a random number, but the 19k serves as a powerful reminder of the long, difficult journey women traveled to obtain their right to vote. Crossing the finish line takes dedication, resilience and strength, all qualities shared with the suffragists that fought for women's suffrage.

The race takes place during Convention Days in beautiful Seneca Falls, New York. Convention Days is a three-day event that commemorates the United States' first women's rights convention that was held in Seneca Falls in 1848. On the second day of the convention, 68 women and 32 men signed the Declaration of Sentiments, which was the cornerstone of the women's equality movement. Join us as we celebrate the women before us and venture the road ahead!

Women's Right to Run 19K, Inc.'s purpose is to inspire, empower, mobilize and connect women. The 19K distance is a nod to the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

Tracy's favorite non-profit running organization 261Fearless.org will be part of the event too with female runners from around New York State. Find out more about them.

Women interested in running with the Women TIES team should register with us so we have your name for logistics information and shirts but register on the Right to Run website to officially register and get a bib number.
